Colorado Business Bankshares Reports 99 Increase in Earnings for Fourth Quarter.

Colorado Business Bankshares, Inc. (Nasdaq: COBZ) today announced record earnings for the three months ended December 31, 1998.

Earnings available to common shareholders for the fourth quarter were a record $1,077,000, compared with $540,000 for the same quarter a year ago, a 99 increase. Earnings per share on a fully diluted basis for the fourth quarter were a record $0.16, compared with $0.11 for the same quarter a year ago, an increase of 45. Earnings for the year ended December 31, 1998 increased 81 to a record $3,138,000, or $0.51 per fully diluted share, compared with $1,737,000, or $0.36 per fully diluted share last year.
